According to Della Corte, high up on the black zoccolo to the right of entrance number 3, two graffitied names were found –
Mendax [CIL IV,
8434]. Vestali [CIL IV, 8435]

on p. 358, Della Corte wrote –
“On the pilaster to the left of entrance number 3, and above the zoccolo (plinth), the following programma came back to light -
Gavium
Rufum / d(uumvirum) i(ure) d(icundo) o(ro) v(os) f(aciatis) [CIL IV, 7412]
And beneath it was an older one, which had mainly vanished, and another –
Ampliatum /
aed(ilem) [CIL IV, 7413]
On the corresponding high brick plinth, an epigraph was traced with a red stone -
Barba(rus)
/ barbaru(s) [CIL IV, 8436]
